Zonar Connect is the next-generation, always-connected device built to meet driver and fleet needs for today and into the future. Its innovative design incorporates feedback from current customers, industry research, and best practices.

Adding to their portfolio of trucking solutions, Zonar looked to introduce a second-generation tablet to their already successful 2020.

Unifying the devices onto a single platform required refactoring & redesigning all software, which included a custom operating system and multiple applications.

ZLogs stands as one of Zonar's major applications for long-haul truckers to record their hours of service.

Concerned with multi-device fleets, both the 2020 and Connect needed to work seamlessly, even with different hardware & software.

All apps moved into a modern, material design style, conforming all custom aspects into an Android-norm.

A proof-of-concept, I created a card-based workflow app which combined actionable content across multiple applications.

Cards are created and ordered, based on urgency. Completing tasks builds the driver's profile and returns a score card for efficiency. Administrators can then compare all drivers via Ground Traffic Control.
